This section of the website is designed to continuously highlight cases recently completed which I feel well represent my practice in plastic surgery. The cases chosen may include my most common surgeries, most challenging cases, or cases which exemplify particular aspects in surgical management which I want to share. This patient underwent bilateral mastectomy for breast cancer and staged reconstruction using tissue expanders replaced with implants. Later nipple reconstruction and fat grafting was done to camouflage the mastectomy defect wall. A fine result.Keywords: Case of the Month
This patient had multiple previous breast surgeries by other surgeons, leaving her with scared, irregular, saggy breast. I changed the implants to silicone gel, reshaped her breasts (now under muscle) lifted her and did liposuction of her hips and abdominoplasty flankplasty in one procedure. This young woman underwent endonasal Rhinoplasty, SMR septoplasty. I exercise restraint in trying to assure patient would end up with a nose that is natural and believable, not overdone, and matches the face. She is shown 9 months later with a fine outcome.Keywords: Case of the Month
