Microblading – 3D Eyebrow tattooing
Our Microblading is semi-permanent* make-up which through the manual process of inserting pigment into the upper layers of skin, creates the desired fullness and shape of the eyebrows. The results of this procedure last up to 1 to 3 years after which the pigment fades leaving the skin and your natural brows virtually as they were before the procedure.
*Although the procedure is considered semi-permanent, the microblading results can change color and shape to some extent. Colors will appear much darker immediately following the procedure but will often soften and lighten during the healing process (a couple of weeks). The healing time is different for each individual and remember it takes time to adjust to a new look!
The process requires 3 appointments.
The first appointment will take 15 to 30 minutes, where we discuss if you are the right candidate for microblading. If you are a candidate, we will discuss the right shape and color for your eyebrows and after care.
The second appointment takes 60-75 minutes. We will numb the area and proceed with the microblading procedure.
The third appointment is scheduled for approximately 4 to 8 weeks after treatment for a final touch up.
How long does it last?
Your microbladed brows will last for as long as you maintain them, usually about 2 years.
Does it hurt?
We take every precaution necessary to ensure the microblading is as pain free as possible. A wide range of medical grade anesthetics are used for your comfort. Some clients find the procedure a little uncomfortable, whereas other clients report no discomfort at all.
What should I do after procedure?
Follow the aftercare instructions given to you. You will also receive an aftercare kit once the treatment is complete.
How long does it take to heal?
Healing time varies from person to person. Usually, it takes about a week to ten days for the epithelial crust to form and slough off (just like a tattoo).
What will they look like immediately right after procedure?
Your brows may be a little swollen, red and sometimes a bit white. This is all very normal. They will be considerably darker (and may not reveal fine stroke detail) for the first week, before they begin to fade to a softer color.

- Botox and filler may be done 4 weeks after treatment is complete
After treatment is done the key is to keep eyebrows clean and dry for the first 7 days.
Day 1 (day of) you may encounter a slightly burning and sore feeling on or around the eyebrows.
Day 2 and 3 are very similar days. You might find the pigment has a bit orange or reddish undertone, don’t panic, that’s just your brows starting its healing process.
By the end of day 4 that should be gone you and will start to slightly feel a bit itchy. The itchiness is part of the scabbing formation. Do not itch, scratch, peel or play with scab, allow it to peel naturally. The scabbing will be more to touch than visual.
After day 5, a lot of the pigment will start to lighten, the scabbing will start to naturally shed on its own and the eyebrows will appear much lighter.
We than have to wait for the full 30-45 days and allow the skin to naturally bring color back to the surface so we can begin our touch-up process.
